I have a one main loan as well that is sitting at 11k. Was going they. Stressful time after being told I can't work anymore (medical issues). But it seems like the balance doesn't ever really go down. I'm a veteran and really trying to figure out how to get the interest rate down and get it paid off quicker? I see you got scra to get the interest rate down. Was wondering if u dint mind sharing how you did that?
