Bank of America doesn't have retail branches in every state; I guess its time for a name change.
Might repair the awful reputation they have.

Closest branch to me is 281 miles away in another state.
With Sagestream frozen, it did take me longer to secure bank account.
They wanted me to unfreeze it at the beginning. I never did.
I'd say after 90 days with the CC and then apply again for gold checking account. Approved instantly no unfreezing Sagestream necessary.
Hey buddy - pardon me if I have asked this before - can Sagestream report be order for one's self?

No one risese to the top without making enemies, so thay say. And they're not the only Big Bank with reputation issues, and it would be quite difficult in today's world to pick any that do not.

BoA has the worst reputation of all the big banks. They all have reputation issues, but BoA is at the top.
BoA is a good bank feature-wise, but Chase is much better IMO. Their credit cards are better, their no fee overdraft protection is unheard of with big banks, the fraud protection is just as good as BoA, customer service is better, and their premium accounts are better.

I was hoping to open a checking account to build a relationship to give me a better shot at their CC's but when I called I was told they don't have branchs near me.
I opened a checking account to build a relationship, because I had been denied for the Cash+. I live in Texas, so it took a little work. Here's what I did:
When do you plan on trying for the Cash+ CC again?

I'll be apping later this month to test a theory, but I don't really expect to be approved.
"For real" app will be in Dec, when I'm 1/12, 9/24 new accounts.
