My bank sent out a letter that's going to tick some people off. 

"FirstBank is committed to banking for good during these challenging times and we understand that government economic impact payments are critical to many of our customers. We are sending this to share some important information about the upcoming stimulus payments as it may temporarily increase wait times in our 24 Hour Contact Center.

We anticipate the funds being available to customers on or after March 17, 2021. If you are viewing your account information online, it is possible that you may see the economic impact payment as a pending transaction. In accordance with the details of the payment from the government, funds will not be released until March 17, 2021 at the earliest."

I wish I could be one of them getting it on the 17th... I probably won't get my check until mid April if it goes like the last one.

Mine shows pending through NFCU to be released on the 17th of March.

Mine is not yet showing as pending in anyway with my bank. With this helpful info about the March 17th release of funds, I'll check back after that. I have a 3 year old medical bill suddenly pop up for about that amount. Actually, I'm going to hold the funds for my 2 PFD from 2 other medical bills from the same time period. 3 hospitals. Tons of individual doctors. 2 ER's. It was a mess. 

Nice to have a chunk available to pay them off.

I wish I could be one of them getting it on the 17th... I probably won't get my check until mid April if it goes like the last one.

No such luck for me. No info available. Here we go again I guess. 

Its a good thing that I haven't actually been in dire need when these have been sent...
