Provisonal approval for Pen Fed personal loan

Got a provisional approval from Pen Fed for $20,000 personal loan.  Was told that, short of my income and personal information being incorrect, it should be finalized by Monday!  This hot on the heels of a cc approval from (SL $6,500) them earlier in the week......I'm speechless!  Hoping that it actually goes through....not believing til they show me the money!

I just joined PenFed last Saturday and immediately did the "check your rate".

I wouldn't be a true myFico'er if I didn't check all SP available. Lol

They came back with 12.99 for 36 months on 5K. I think I might be able to get lower with NFCU, Idk.

Totally!  On top of that, you'll get an email with that same "check your rate" every so many weeks.  I want to say I am getting them over other month.

I never went through with the app, they've been emailing me daily telling me I have an app that needs finished.

I thought it would've expired after a couple of days.

@Momagain  Congrats!  What is the rate they came back to you with on the $20k PL?  Also, what was your score with Penfed?  Did they do a hard pull on your credit or just use your intenal Soft Pull score with Penfed?

Don't know about internal score.  They have me 17.99%, which isn't great, but is lower than a lot of my cards....so I'll take it.  It was a HP.  Hope that info helps

Yes it does thank you!  And yes, interest rate is not great but if less than what you are paying on cards then it's a big step in the right direction!
