Sofi-questions re:paystubs to submit

Questions for those people who got loans  thru Sofi. Last yr I made over $100,00 doing contract work with the same company, however the contract ended the 2nd wk in Dec so thats the last paycheck I have for 2016. I am starting another contract beginning in Feb and I know some loan agency ask for the last 2 paychecks. Should I wait until I start my new contract to apply for a loan or will the last 2 pay checks from 2016 work. Thanks in advance for info

Your case may be different.

SOFI didn't ask for pay stubs from me. They sent me and email with a special link for my employer to email them confirming my employment and salary.

Are you W2 or 1099 when talking contracting?  W2 is simply a months worth of paystubs as soon as you land in the new gig, 1099 though is generally tax returns.

If they ask.
