No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
I am looking for a personal finance software to track some tasks like checking/saving accounts, credit cards, mortgage and stocks. It is good if it can have a life-time license with a resonable price (but not monthly subscription).
Which software do you recommend?
As a bonus, it would be good if it can be compatoble to TurboTax to import its files for taxation.
I use libreoffice templates. Some homemade calc sheets too. I'm sorta diy.
The license is reasonable, it's free. They don't try to push upgrades on you either, like windoz.

I use the version that comes with
But it's also available for windoz and mac.
I've found it works just like msoffice, imports/exports their files. I've even written msbasic macros that run in calc just like excel.
I already have Microsoft Excel. I am looking for a software like Quickbooks or Quicken to pull the data from banks and brokerage accounts and afterward, do financial analysis. It would help taxation much easier, since these data can get imported to TurboTax.
What about the Mint App? I downloaded it years ago but never really used it. I don't remember all its features but you could at least look into it to see if it would be helpful.

I believe that Mint has been integrated into Credit Karma and is no longer available.

Quickbooks Enterprise 2021 lifetime license is around $69 (desktop version). This finance software is typically for businesses while it can be overkill for personal finance ![]()
PS: QB moved to a monthly subscription in late 2021. So, it is possible to count on the lifetime licenses for the year 2021 or older.
Here's one I've heard works like quicken
So far, to track stocks/IRA accounts, I found Empower (Personal Capital) and Fidelity Full View. They work nicely and they are free.
For checking/saving/credit card accounts, Mint was a good free option, but it got discontinued and integrated into Credit Karma. Several users were unhappy from this CK service. CK also have several issues with login for some users including me (needs SSN to renew password) and I stopped using CK for a year. So, I am searching...
I use PerNetFlow to manage my net cashflow for the next 12 months (income, spending, bills, credit cards, sinking funds, and short- and long-term savings). It has no tax functions (I have a CPA for that), but, I use it to maintain my debt-to-income ratio and net worth. After a 60-day free trial, a lifetime license is very reasonable.
Personally I am using MoneyWiz 2025 (iOS/macOS) that connects with various institutions. It's an annual license as far as I remember - I have used it for 2 years now - and pretty happy with it.
