If you have Zelle in your 5/3 mobile banking app, it's SUPER FAST to transfer money into your NFCU account. I transfer our car payment from our USAA account to NFCU checking. It's in there and available within minutes. I used to do wire transfers or write checks and mobile deposit. Zelle is by far much easier and faster to use.

Hey thanks for the reply! I do have Zelle. I didn't think I could use it to transfer from my bank to credit union. If I can then that's great!
I thought I knew a little about credit and banking but after being on myfico for 2 months I realized I never knew anything.
Does 5/3 support Zelle? If so, thats your best option. Free and INSTANT. I use it all the time between my BoA accounts and NFCU accounts..
I do have Zelle with 5/3. I'm glad it'll work! Sounds like the best option. Thanks for letting me know Zelle will work with NFCU! 🤟

I am not seeing where to do this. I have Zelle with Capital One, and when I open up Zelle from within C1, it just offers me the option to Zelle money to someone's phone # or email.

I haven't used it yet. From my understanding when you setup Zelle your phone # or email will be associated with the account #your sending money to.
I could be wrong though. Maybe @DogHouse will have a little more insight.
I've zelle'd money from NFCU to Chase. I had to associate my phone number with one account and my email address with the other. I still find it easier to just write a check and mobile deposit it.
