I had no idea, they were all that! .... "Navy Federal is the largest natural member (or retail) credit union in the United States, both in asset size and in membership. As of February 2022, Navy Federal has $159.8 billion USD in assets and has 11.85 million members."
I didn't mean in those regards just personally for my current financial needs at the moment as a rebuilder.
- Direct Deposit 2 days early
- Quick Loans up to $500 no credit check ($20 fee per loan, 6 week repayment period after 30 days) Have utilized a Quick Loan 2 or 3x so far.
- Secured credit card with no credit check (heard that it may unsecure after a year from a recent member who made the statement June 2022 even though its said that it would NOT graduate) Whether it unsecures or not, I am okay with that.
The benefits listed above may not apply to someone with good/excellent credit. However, Unify opened the door to establish a relastionship. My interactions with them over the last 6 months have been great. No hiccups, mishandling of application processes, therefore resulting in no complaints from me. I'm not chasing after any of their credit cards or other financial products at the moment. Everyone's needs are different. Currently, Unify is my lowest APR credit card, then NFCU, followed by Apple. NFCU is my primary finanial institution, however, not in a position to reap all of Navy Federal benefits and rewards just yet.
I've been a member for 4 years. Had no idea they have 2 day early direct deposit. Thanks for the info.
I have to say this after my rocky start...
UNIFY IS AN AMAZING CREDIT UNION. Aside from the feedback here, their response to my complaint has been awesome.
So glad I joined!

@SouthJamaica I'd like to also inform you that due to their time zone (Pacific Time Zone) direct deposits from Unify arrive between 11am EST for me, but nonetheless 2 days early.
I had Unify back in like 2017, pretty local to the Torrance branch and I drive by branches frequently..
if I had to say anything about this CU is that their horrible slow at doing things... switched to Kinecta and absolutely love it. I also have NFCU, Penfed but unify doesn't compare IMO... but if you like it, enjoy!
I recently started a rebuild. They opened my banking accounts with no hassle compared to some other CU's.
They called and emailed me after joining. They sent my debit cards within 2 days.
I applied for the Secured Card. It tells you your aplication is in process and they call and verify info the next day and takes less then 5 minutes to complete. 100% approval with money to fund in accounts.
so far so good!
I have a membership with them and had a secured card with them for a year. They were fine. No complaints, but nothing to write home about either. I tried going for a regular unsecured card a few months after closing the secured card, but got denied. My profile isn't the best by any means, but they seem rather conservative, IMO.
I will give them this - the secured card APR was 11.49% (at the time, not sure now), which was by far my lowest APR on any of my cards (not that it matters).

I concur on them being conservative and lowest APR on secured CC. I'm just going garden until I'm in a way better position. But I actually dont even want any of their cc's. I just got CC to help with rebuild plus there's no credit check.
Can someone commit on Unify FCU's Chexsytem sensitivity? There was talk at doctorofcredit.com about Chexystem denials.
https://www.doctorofcredit.com/unify-financial-credit-union-50-checking-bonus-two-la-rams-tickets/
I have no Chexsystem derogs. Right now I am 3/12 in account openings. However will be 2/12 by December. If Penfed does not use Chexsystem then I am 2/12 and will be 1/12 by December.
EDIT:
Just to muddy the waters, here is a article claiming the Unify does not use Chexsystems.
