recently found that WSECU has a preapproval tool when applying to loan products.
When you click on 'Apply now' button say for LOC or Credit card and fill out standard info ( names , ssn , address ) - they will show you a preapproval offers with limits based on EX 8 score model.
This CU was solely for WA state residents but recently added a new eligibility option for out of state people: if you have any family member who lives in WA state ( but not a member of WSECU - you are eligible to join ). This can be a backdoor option for OOS applicants. Chat representative also confirmed this and WSECU pulls Chex for join.
Would be great to hear from active CU member of their experience with WSECU and products. Their credit cards look great with no AF, BT fee, CA fee, FTF fee.
