I have been with BofA for over a decade as my daily driver and feel like my ACH transfers could stand to be faster. I see better results when I push out funds using Paypal with my accounts linked in my paypal portal using paypal as the HUB. No fee is involved because I don't select instant via debit card, I select 1-3 business days via checking acct. but it actually only takes 1 business day with this route.
BofA for me is taking 2-3 days to push the same money to the same receiver FI (NFCU, DCU and BCU for example).
What main FI do you use that allows for a faster result? I really don't like using a "monkey in the middle" method like this with Paypal.

I like using Affinity FCU as a hub because pulls from other institutions to Affinity only take a day at most seemingly no matter who the partner institution is. They will actually be same day pulls if I remember to get it it in before their 4:30pm or so cutoff.
I pay less attention to pushes from Affinity to elsewhere, but they also seem quick and I really don't recall waiting more than a day for funds to show up at the transfer partner.

in my case, I use BCU, ACH push same day. However, it only allows up to 5 external accounts.
The most fastest I see is 1 day. Alliant CU is used to be but not sure about it now
Agree with Affinity FCU. Fastest bank I've used.
I use DCU as my main bank and push transfers over to my other account at Chase, 99% of the time I see the funds next day

@Rogue46 Thanks. It seems crazy to me my BofA is taking so long ever since they discontinued the fee. I belong to DCU but have not used my checking account there ever.

@Rogue46 I belong to DCU as well but I've never used then for banking just credit. As for Chase, the the closest thing to them I have is BofA. Are they similar? I see they have a nice SUB as does Wells Fargo.

@DakotaM Affinity has a lot of votes on this forum from what I have seen. I had an auto loan through them back in 2016 and they were the lowest APR we could find using RateGenius at the time. I do like their customer service. Thanks for the data on ACH pulls.

@butterpecan Discover Bank the lack of fees most banks charge they do not on checking . The debit card gives you 1% cash back. 24/7 US based customer service. The only slight drawback is on the push to another FI can vary in how long it takes depending on amount of the push.
