chase question

I was trying to apply for the $300 chase checking bonus online, but it declined my application...Do you think I'll get approved at a local branch? I don't think there are negatives on my chex...

Unless there's any negative items on ChexSystems, it will be the same outcome.

You might want to go into a local branch and apply. I tried to set it up online initially and got a decline message. Then I tried a second time and nope. Walked into a branch and the representative set it up with no problems. Nothing negative on chex, not sure what the issue was. With each attempt they did a SP on EX I remember that much

My boss can't get a checkings account at any brick and mortar bank. She wound up going with Ally Bank as no one else would approve her (I don't know the reasons but she said once she has "really bad credit"). My mom was a payroll manager (she worked in payroll her whole career) and she's met plenty of "unbankable" people.

I finally went to the bank and got my checking. Weird how I couldn't apply for one online.

I Have had a account with Chase 3 times once in 2009 They pulled TU, then in 2012 Pulled TU, then this month after my BK filing I opened a checking with them they pulled Experian. All soft pulls. None of these times did they pull Chex Systems. I checked. It could be your credit or the state you live in maybe Chase does do Chex but where i live they only Pull Credit. I've been told by a freind that used to work there they only report to Chex for account mishandling. Hope this helps someone.

how did you get the 300 offer? I'm only getting the 200 when I log into chase CC/freedom.

Chase is easier if you go into a branch and explain. If you do it online Loss Prevention is more likely to shut it down.
