A day of frustration!!

A day of frustration with Equifax!

I never felt like giving up but today that is how I feel.  I live in NYC and unfortunately to rent an apartment landlords are pretty much looking for a perfect credit score and I really need to move.    I’ve been repairing my credit since February of this year and I have made a lot of headways but today I really feel like giving up.  My utility went from 86% to 54% still work in progress however instead of me seeing an increase like I did from Transunion and Experian my score went from 590 to 568 on Equifax.   My Equifax has no collection, no public record; while my TU has 1 collection 2 paid liens, 1 charged off due to drop off May 17.  My Experian has I collection and a charge off falling off April of 17. Everything else is the same with cap one 120 days late now current and student loans in deferment.   I will just wait again to see what my scores will be at the end of the month when…  Just venting…

Yep. They are tough! Also getting things (which should be) removed with them is tough too.

Re: A day of frustration!!

This is crazy , what are you using to see your scores ? I personally think this is some kind of.glitch bc you SHOULD DEFINITELY gaim pts for lowering UTI, I understand how upsetting and frustrating thus whole thing can be , I've had a mix of so many emotions over the last 8 mths of rebuilding . My worst time was when I lost 20 pts just as I hit the 600 mark ,.up from the 400s when I started in Jan this year. Anyways I lost 20 pts for absolutely no reason that I could find , nothing had changed in my reports . Talk about being let down big time.

Re: A day of frustration!!

Thank you!

I also started in the 470’s on all three reports in February and got public records removed some collection and pretty much doing as much as I can from the information I read here.  I subscribe to my FICO and pulled my quarterly report today. After I posted I received an alert saying that my score dropped due to an update with a paid charged off that I was disputing still showing late.  It is still odd that I did not get a single bounce from my utility becoming lower.  I will wait to see if it will update more. I did get 12 points bounce from TU to 607 Experian went up 4 points  to 579 points.  I am looking forward to some updates because I paid a couple of small credit cards off and will be making some large payment s.  I am still thankful for my journey so far.

Re: A day of frustration!!

I hope you see a bounce in scores for your lowering UTI also , I paid off my last tiny little utility CO from when I moved to another state I never got the bill , go.figure . Anyways it's been a mth and only TU has updated it being removed so far. It was a PFD I worked out with them, anyways I been waiting ad waiting , and nothung for EX and EQ , I got a very nice increase on TU when it was removed as it was my newest and last thing left . So I'm anxious to see what the others do along with my new account from Navy Fed . It's so weird bc TU is literally the LAST one to do anything and in this case they reported it gone like the week after I paid it..I'm worried that something didn't go right like maybe the company didn't send in the deletes to the other two CBS . Gonna give it a bit longer but if I don't see it gone soon I'll call them back I guess ..
