Re: ACS Inc scam?

Here are a few clues for you.

"Now it's high time, if you failed to respond in next 48 HOURS we will register this case in court. Consider this as a final warning and we will be Emailing/Fax this issue to your current employer to make sure they take strict action against you. Your salary and all your wages confiscated."

That message implies information will be immediately (or within 48 hrs.) sent to your employer.  Wages cannot be garnished without a judgment rendered against you by a court.  In addition, "all" of your wages cannot be "confiscated".

Do revert back if you want to get rid of these legal consequences and make a payment arrangement Today or we would be proceeding legally against you."

In the U.S., "revert" usually means to go back to the original.  For instance, someone is a brunette, dyes their hair blonde, the reverts to brunette.  That person went back to their original hair color.

However, in some other countries, "revert" means to "respond".  That is how "revert" was used in the message.

"ATTENTION: THIS CASE IS UNDER INVESTIGATION WITH MAJOR CREDIT BUREAUS."

Since when do major credit bureaus "investigate" cases as implied by the message?   They don't.

Over the years, I've received a few calls threatening to "serve legal papers".  Since I had no debts, I usually just hung up.  But one time, I responded to a caller.

Me:  Someone is coming to my house?  Oh my goodness, no one ever comes to see me!  Please let me know when that person will arrive because I'll make sure to have fresh coffee and some cake ready for him.

I'm not even kidding man. The title of the email is ARREST WARRANT. With out me even being served.

And then they state in the email, that officer will serve me papers if I don't settle now outside of court. And they steadily are negotiating what amount they will accept. Went from 2 grand, them $800, then $400, and lastly $200 lmao. If they try to take me to court, they're dumb as hell.

Next thing you knew they knocked at your door and told you they were going to need about tree fiddy.  That was about that time that you noticed that they were about 8 stories tall and a crustacean from the protozoic era
