Ally Auto: Remove Late Payment

I've been trying to have my 30 day late removed, but no luck so far. Ive asked in other threads (even private message other members), but no response. Is there anyone who has had success doing so or know the proper steps to take? All help is appreciated and will be rewarded$ (seriously, donation to either your bitcoin, gofundme or Google wallet).

Is it a legitimate 30-late, or are you seeking the creditor's good will by their voluntary deletion of accurate information?

Both. It is late, but Ive been current since then (Oct '16). And I would like it deleted.

Hi. I know exactly what your going through. I went through the same thing twi years ago. No payment is necessary for this information.I was blessed to get not only the late payments removed, but my entire payment history removed from my credit report. ( I would not advise doing this if you only have one or two late payments) I had approximately six or seven late payments on my credit report from Ally Financials Auto loan. I reached out to Ally's Customer Relations Officer to assist me. I explained my situation and then he removed a couple of late payments from all three if my credit reports. Then, I requested for my entire payment history to be deleted from my credit report. The Customer Relations Officer then asked me for proof of my extenuating circumstances that led to the late payments. I emailed her the documents and then she approved my request. I reccomend escalating your request to the CUSTOMER RELATION OFFICER in ALLY'S customer service department. Good Luck!! I hope you achieve success.

I actually posted a month or so ago that I had luck getting our 1x30 from 2016 removed.  Ally was actually really great to work with.  I received a call the same day and it was gone within a week.  PM me and I'll send the email.

Hello, I just got into the same situation.  I have been with them for a year and this is my first late payment.  I don't know what happen.  I am trying to get a house in a few months.  Can anyone tell me who I need to get in contact with and how?    I have been on time with every bill for a whole year.  This is my first late payment to Ally ever.  Thanks so much for any help.

Can someone provide me with the address, email or telephone number of the person I should contact for assistance with removal of two late payments I had with Ally due to missing work for two weeks. I was in and out of the hospital for over a month dealing with a health issue and it set me back severely with all my bills as I didn’t have enough PTO to cover all my time off and after I exhausted my PTO I had to miss a certain amount of days with no pay before my short term disability would kick in.
