I got added as an authorized user on a Cap1 with 1800CL and it finally reported -- Last night I was able to get approved for a credit one card (yeah, I know - gotta rebuild somehow) and an Amazon Store card for $800!
No pre-approval offers from Cap1, Chase, Citi or Barclays.
I'm I bit confused because my EX on creditchecktotal still says 507 with none of the authorized user accounts showing yet - but my FAKOs on CK are TU 675 and EQ 712! Starting from 400's two years ago, paid off old medical judgements down to one bad account reporting on all 3! woot.
Have to wait another 30 days to get real ones from creditchecktotal.
My question is : is there anything else you think I should apply for?
And
Is there another site where I can get real updated FICO from for free/cheap?
The credit one and Amazon are my first ever unsecured accounts -- I'm 35, I know. . . lame!

If you have enough of a score to get Amazon, you don't need Credit One. You should app for a Cap 1 QS1 and a Platinum right off. Don't rely on preapprovals. Synchrony isn't going to approve an Amazon account with less than about a 620, in most cases. I would close that Credit One asap and app for a Cap 1 QS1 and/or Platinum.

What's the date on that EX report? Synch pulls TU so you are good there.

OP about a month ago I found this site. My Merrick card had my TU score at 609.

I was approved for Platinum and QS for $300 each and Amazon for $700.

About a week later I found CCT and the Credit Pulls database. CCT had me at Ex 623, TU 610 and EQ 576. I have two judgments (2009&2011) and a couple of collection accounts.

I have since added Target, Pier 1, Victoria Secret and WalMart. (I'm gardening now!! lol).

I have no experience with Credit One but it sounds like they're as awful as First Premier! Definitely app for the Capital One cards if you're looking for unsecured. They seem to be very generous for rebuilders.

Cap1 pulled all three reports like 3 weeks ago because I applied for their secured card (didn't send deposit yet because I was waiting for the AUs to report) so do ya think that matters?

Apply anyway. If approve for the Platinum, immedately apply for the QS1.

Platinum was denied =\ bummer!

No but I think it was denied because of your pending secured app. You will have to wait 30 days and apply again. You still don't need Credit One.
