Amex Optima application

I had a chargeoff on my Delta gold card in 2018 and accepted an offer via Nationwide Credit to pay in full to get into the Amex Oasis program. I just made the final payment two weeks ago, does anyone have experience with how long it takes to actually receive the application? Starting to feel nervous I played myself!

If it was offered, be assured it's legit. The app is usually sent in a couple weeks. Snail mail has slowed some, I know in my area anyways.

I don't remember , but it will come , I was in your shoes a while back and I have my Amex card back in March. The program is the real deal, but I can't recall time frames .

My wife's AMEX charge off was paid in August, she got the Optima invite last week (no prior offer).

I had gotten multiple offers from AMEX to be reinstated.  Options were to either pay the balance in full, monthly payments or lump sum.  I called the number and paid it in full.  They guy said that the application will be mailed out within 30 days.  About 15 days later I got it, and sent it back in.  I then got the card about 8 days later.  Granted, I am in the southwest and the return address is in Utah, so I got things a little quicker.  YMMV

You will receive the application. I would call them again.

Feel free to see my post regarding Optima info. The process is longer than imaginable. I would expect 3-5 weeks for application in current climate. In all the proccess will take about 2 months- once AMEX receives your paper application it takes another 1-2 weeks to process. There is no real way to expedite or review any faster. Congtats on being a step closer to being back in the Amex family!

Surprisingly quick turnaround - received the card in the mail yesterday after mailing the application about a week ago! Now I just need AMEX to stop reporting the account as derogatory every single month 🙄

Congrats. 
Amex will zero out the charge off amount and stop the monthly reporting. You should receive a bump in score when that happens.

had paid full over the phone, got my application about 3 weeks later and had it send in the next day, got the card within 10 days.
