Any way to determine if your SOL has restarted?

I was wondering if there was a way to determine if the SOL of an account has restarted/reaged/etc.

Is there something in your credit report that might tell you this information?

I don't want to look stupid by using the whole "This account is past SOL" and they counter attack and say "Well you contacted our office last year, so your SOL has restarted"

How would you know if the CA has reaged the SOL of an account?

SOL goes by the DOLA...and that usually is reset by payment only...

BUT in some states, it can be reset by simply admitting to the debt or making a payment promise ... and a payment promise can be as vague and simple as "I'll make a payment one of these days." As long as you did neither of those (and can reasonably prove that you've never, if the CAs in question should prove to be ... let's say, less than honest), then you should be fine. Smiley Happy

JShidell, what state are you in (I know you're overseas, but what is your home of record?) AND the CAs in question??
