Anyone dealt with Tenaglia & Hunt (Citibank) ?

Citibank just assigned my CC debt to a firm called Tenaglia & Hunt. I believe they intend to sue with due time. It's really hard to find anything about them on google though. I'd like to know if anyone has dealt with them. I'm looking to settle for 20% . I tried settling with Citi direct already, but they keep telling me to speak with the law firm. I don't want to call a debt collector on a recorded line and potentially say something by mistake, that could be used against me later. Just trying to think of the smartest way of tackling / settling this.

Welcome @MountainMoses

Few things first. Does Citi still show a balance on your reports? If not. It was sold to the law firm/CA. When did this account go to charge off? Amount? 20% isnt going to happen. Whats the SOL in your state?

The SOL in my state is 3 years. The amount owed is in the 5 digit range. It was assigned to that law firm this summer. I dont know the exact date. Yes I'm aware of their website lol. I meant people that have actually dealt with them and beat them. I've exhausted every page on google / bing. It seems like they have some kind of online reputation management service at play or people simply don't talk about them (I suspect the former) . Cant pull up my report on my device right now (good question though) The debt collector law firm has told me that they were assigned the debt. I would have gotten something from them (Citi), that IRS form , if a charge-off occurred I believe . Do you have any insight into this law firm specifically, as to why a 20% settlement isn't going to happen? Curious.

Its kinda important when did it go to CO status. Since your SOL is 3 yrs. Are you past that. They cant sue.

I currently have 3 accounts with Tenaglia and Hunt. 2 BOA and 1 synchrony card. I am trying to get them to send me a 1099c for the charge offs of these accounts. i have also requested a debt validation from them an they keep beating around the bush, so to speak. i have yet to get a correct reply mfrom them but the more they dont comply the more there going to owe me money. has anyone requested a 1099c or validation of the debt?
