Basic Tradeline Data - Whats missing on your report? Data vs. 1.........

I am hoping to share information to anyone intersted in understanding theh data on your report. It was extremely confusing to me - until you starte connecting the dots.

A Tradeline on your report is based on a few elements, and while it looks greak to most of us - I am hoping the people will begin understanding that this record, on your report is expected to be complete, and when it is not - it can adversely impact your scores in some crazy ways.

While FCRA is useful in understanding the dispute process, and what people can believe can be disputed (not mine, it was included in a bankruptcy etc)...I am sharing so that people begin to understand what all of that data means.

Get a copy of your reports from the credit agencies - no Quizzle, Karma or Sesame allowed- ...and take a look at all of the records (Target, Chase, BOA etc) and then look at what the differences are.

Are all of your Accounts that are closed, not only storing a closed date, but also the correct status/activitydesignator to show that no further payments are due? Id there still payment history showing up years later? Here is an example of an account - that is so wrong (DATA WISE) but -- it looks so right from the surface.

Yep - I had a Combnk accoiunt  a year ago, yep - thats my limit - and yep, that is the closed date - but why oh why is there payment history is there pay history  through today??

Upfront - this is the Credit Grantor, and as such - no guessing, is allowed.

Thi saccount has been closed for over a year.

1 A closed Date exists, but ----------this account is truly reporting as still open.

2. The activity Designator - Account Status in your other reports, says ---- NA. It should say - PAID/CLOSED.

3. When initially dusputed, the CRA updated the account - and when they did -- it space filled all dates including before it was opened, and then after it was closed.

4. Months reviewed was accurate ---at 4 months so why is there so much more history present/reviewed and not calculated in?

Pay History should ONLY exists for the duration in shich an account, exixts. And no more (considering the maximun a CRA can display).

Here is one that is still Missing Pay History - when it was deleted, it dropped my score 70 points, and in a day.

This one is one of my oldest lines, and its deletion may have an impact on my score.

But --- Its not closed- The account status - activity Designator is still NA.

No Payment History exists, and then the balance history is gone now too.

It  was updated in 2016 - when it was disputed, and then - it lost all of the supporting history I believe is used to calculate sore (or at least a good deal :-))

Take a look at your tradelines, time - may not be the only thing keeping your scores down.

Its truly in the data sometimes.

Why would you have 81 month pay history for an account you haven't paid since 3/2008.  It's been 98 months since you made a payment.  There is nothing to report.

Re: Basic Tradeline Data - Whats missing on your report? Data vs. 1.........

Hey twokidsand2kats!!

First - this is considered a POSITIVE TRADELINE by the CRA's, and the only true reason it has fallen into that status is because of  Pay Status ="Pays As Agreed", and based on this - it would reside on my report for 10 years.

Second - As I have tried to explain, its all in that data that resides on this tradeline in mycredit report.

Third - EQ, updated this account manually, and because that ACTIVITY DESIGNATOR does NOT say closed - it appears open and all types of magical stuff happens.

Fourth - when they updated the account, it simply space filled the pay histpory from the date of last activity and through the last changed date, wrong - right or indifferent.

What I have been trying to say, and communicate to folk is the DATA you see has more of an impact than you know.

Take some time and check your report - I will say, that if that Status/Activity Designator is blank, or NA -  you either have absolutely no history which is the anchor or your tradeline - or some space filled gvalues that are wholly - innacurate.

Thats why :-)

Re: Basic Tradeline Data - Whats missing on your report? Data vs. 1.........

Oh - and its not 81 months.

That is in fact the label - from EQ> It allows for any Credit Grantor Tradeline to actually store that much history, and no more.

Mine has ?? - when it was only open for 4 months, and the other about a year.

Look at the months reviewed - why 73 months???

Kinda crazy right - thats what you saw, can you imagine, what other people interpert?

Much love......#itsinthecreditdata
