Okay, So to make a long story very short my Ex and i  defaulted on every credit cards you could get about 3 years ago. Forward to now I have a car loan with on time payments  last 15 months. A 8600 line of credit from Wells Fargo outdoor solutions, I am using about 28% of that  on time payments last 16 months, I also have a personal loan i got from my Credit Union started out at 2,000 balance owed down to 1200 took that out in Jan of 17 payments on time as well, My questions is do you see anything i can do to get my score out of the 630 range or is time my only opition

Are your defaulted cards paid off? Is WF the only open revolving account you have?

Yes and Yes I am carrying no collection debt

3 revolving accounts, with only 1 account showing a balance will help your scores. Have you tried Cap1 prequal site? Paying down WF to 9% or less will help your score also.

Yes i have no luck with cap one. the WF account is actually only good at pool city and i see nothing else that i would ever need at pool city. so I have taken my time to pay it off because i don't see using it again and i need the payment history. I'm afraid once i pay to off there going to closing the card from non use and then my only relvoling card will go down the tube. hoping to have 700 before i pay it off

How long ago did you pay off the defaulted accounts?

Where did you pull your scores from? I would try Discover and Amex prequal sites. Before you apply, post what rate or range of rates they offer you.

My bank pulled my scores both pre quals were no goes

Do you know whether those are FICO 8 score's or some other version? If they're not 8's, I would recommend spending the $1 on the trial membership with Credit Check Total.
