The funny thing is, I have noticed one or two old/good/closed accounts falling off but I play by the rules. I guess the 10 year time frame was up! When accounts age like that and fall off, does this hurt your score at all?
It can if it lowers your AAoA and credit length history. That's one reason it's recommended to try and keep accounts open if at all possible.
Here is an excellent thread talking about the pros and cons of Closing Credit Cards if you haven't read it yet.

To be clear we're not talking about normal credit monitoring. We're talking about those who purposely and deliberately pull a report many, many times in an attempt to manipulate the system. This is the practice (and the advocacy of same) that is a violation of the Forum's credit repair guidelines

I'm still unclear on this. I refresh my credit reports every day with all 3 CR's as I have CMS through all 3. Is that bad?
From what I gather, you/we are in the clear. Like you, I have the opportunity to pull every day and I do take advantage of that....not deceptively.

What you are doing is fine. What I'm talking about is excessive pulls meant to do only one thing,

Yep - what MVV said. You are absolutely fine. Those who do excessive multiple pulls are the ones at risk of losing their good old closed accounts earlier than they would have otherwise.

when you say excessive pulls meaning apping for new credit??? What kind of pulls are you talking about?
Yah - what's excessive? How the heck can you pull more than once a day? Isn't that excessive? I'm so scared I'll bump off my student loans I don't even use EQ ID anymore.
i'm sure if you are only pulling your reports 1x a day, or 2x a day if you have more than one monitoring service, you should be fine.

The truth is I can't go into detail as to how people go about bumping inquiries because unfortunately some unethical folks would then use that knowledge to actually do it.
Just be aware that if you do normal credit pulls there should never be a problem.
(Please don't ask me what "normal" is).
Edited for a typo.

Hey, MV: Please define "normal"
