CA cant delete

I have a applied bank CC that had a 2k balance they want to settle for 1k i told the rep I will pay the full settle for a delete and they said applied bank will not delete TL's. the CA is not reporting on my report yet just the applied bank TL should I pay before the CA starts to report to avoid 2 baddies?

Did the CA say they would not report if you paid them?

 

I would if they won't report.

I didnt get that far with the rep I wanted to speak with the Applied folks and see if they could work something out first but there offices are closed think thats a bad call?

A CA cannot have an OC account deleted and vice versa.

 

If the OC won't delete, I would see if the CA will take payment for not reporting then GW the OC.

I am afraid the OC wont even talk to me and just forward me to the CA that is what Citi did...

It's very possible.  Is there a balance reporting with the OC?

Then they probably still own it.  Even if you have to pay the CA, the balance would no longer be factored into your utilization and would help.

 

Sometimes the OC just won't talk to you after sending an account to collections.

the blance of a collection credit card still counts towards my utilization?

If it is reporting both the balance and CL, yes it does.
