CA reporting question

Does anyone know how long it takes for a CA deletion to show up on the credit reports? Last week I had a CA agree that the debt they were reporting was not mine (woohoo) and sent me a letter stating that they would report this deletion to the CRA's, but according to my TC report, it's still on there Am I being to hasty and not waiting long enough?

TU is the slow one...they are usually a week behind...I would give them a few more days....and if it still there...I would fax them the deletion letter...asking for removal...

I can fax the deletion letter straight to the CRA's? Then that's what I'll do. I'll be nice and wait a few more days first Thanks
