CFPB Ruling - CITI Debt from 02/10 to 06/13

Thought this could potentially help some out. There was a ruling today from the CFPB on Citi and their illegal practices of selling off debt.

What do you think the impact to the consumer will be? I have a default judgment from 2013...Would this ruling help vacating?

According to the article - "The CFPB ordered Citibank and the law firms to comply with a court order that Citibank refund $11 million to consumers and forgo collecting about $34 million from nearly 7,000 consumers."

Very interesting info, and lots of news when I Google it!  How would I/we figure out whether an account on our CR is impacted by this ruling?  I have one for $2500 that went to LVNV funding, and one on a judgement.
