CO vs. Owning question

On Identity Guard, my TU report has a Cap One credit card listed as revolving credit, and also a GEMB/ Care Credit listed as revolving.  Cap One was a CO, showing a 0 balance, and GEMB/Care Credit shows a balance, a CO, and 2 CA's are reporting (currently waiting on 2 DV's and a PFD which I sent out March 31st). I don't know who owns the debt but its showing that I'm using 50% utilization, even though its a CO.  So my question is, I haven't had any response from GEMB, can I call them to find out if they still own?  I would LOVE to pay them off and still have them report as revolving credit.

Re: CO vs. Owning question

In order to be counted toward your utilization, both a CL and balance need to be reported, even on a CO'd debt.  This is for FICO scoring.

Whatever Identity Guard is showing is for their calculations.
