CR issues

I have a question,  I had a BK block from my CR report due to fraud and also a judgment from an apartment that i never live at; anyway I had to file a police report in order to have it blocked in the first place. I then reported the judgment again to let EX know that it was also on the police report EX did block, but head of security unblocked the BK the same day and it was put back on my CR without notice.  I called when I notice, and ask way was it put back on my CR and being investigated before i could see it? I was told that the head of security did this. I check back back the next day and it was still on my report as under investigation and not block. What are my options?

Re: CR issues

Hi miyasohot1, I split your post to form a new thread found here. I had to edit your subject line, but chnaged nothing else. If you'd like the line changed, feel free to click "Options" and then "Edit Message" to make that change.

Welcome to the forums!

I'd suggest reading the following:

Common Abbreviations

Credit Scoring 101 - great for knowing what is in your credit score and to see how your score is impacted.

and What Steps Do I Take - great for learning the repair process.

Questions? "BK" on these forums means "Bankruptcy". The only way a BK can appear is if you filed for BK. Did you do ever do that? I can't imagine an ID thief filing BK on money he/she stole. Was the judgment for the apartment associated with the same person? I'd start by contacting that courthouse and getting those BK papers. Look at them and figure out who used your SSN. What does your police report say? And how did you dispute all of this? BTW, I don't think a BK can be blocked. It is either there or not there; valid or invalid.

Re: CR issues

"Head of Security" - head of security for where?  I really am having trouble figuring out what you're talking about.  What I can gather is: there was a bankruptcy due to fraud (id theft?) and one of the items in question is a derogatory mark regarding an apartment that the perp took out in your name, leading you to put a freeze on your reports and now you think the head of security put it back on?  I can't quite make that make sense in my head.

Re: CR issues

Yes,a Bankruptcy and a judgment.  I notice them in 2006 when i started paying close attention to my credit reports. I went to my local police department and file a police report; there were many of  accounts in my name included in this Bk. I had to repeat the process because I notice on april 8, 2010 that the bankruptcy was back on my credit report, so I called Exprian to find out why it was put back on my report.  I was told " the head of experian security unblocked the Bk so it was place back on my report ". Is this something that they can do without notice?

Re: CR issues

So none of this is yours?  Or did you end up declaring bankruptcy because of ID theft?

Re: CR issues

I never declared bankruptcy. whoever stoled my ID did, this is why I've been trying so hard to clear my name.

Re: CR issues

So everything on your credit report that's negative is not yours?  I think you can dispute them as such, providing the police report and any documentation you have, but I think you might need advice from someone more versed than I.

I do have my owne accounts on my report never been late,But thisBK back on my credit looks bad all over again. I just feel helpless because I did what I was suppose to do; how can this guy after 3 years just decide to put an item backon my report when I submitted everything they asked me for?
