Calling All Experts, I am really going need your HELP!!!!

So this what I am facing......I have been horrible with my credit, and it's biting back:

EQ: 477 FICO

TU:535 FICO

EX:570 FAKO

The biggest problem I am having is with my EQ, it totally different than the other 2.....it report a credit history of 6 years, the other 2 report 10 years. But that is neither here nor there here is the picture:

5 Collections:

1 PFC for a utility bill $368, 2009, I have submitted a PFD by snail mail, and then called and I received a verbal no over the phone, but I will continue to send out the letters snail mail, until they give me a yes

2 CMI Group, COMCAST, $606, 2009 I have  heard great responses about CMI accepting PFD, I will e-mail this week

3 Allied Collections,  Provida Sixweek Makeover,$112, 2008, I want to send a PFD, but there are so many Allied Collection out there don't know which one to send it to

4. Gregory J. Barro Associates, AT&T, 2007 I actually paid these guys, it is mark paid on CR, but I think GW to have it removed????

5. The Bereaus, have no idea, $1,211, I disputed this account, waitng on results

Late payments:

For some reason LVNV is reporting 120+ late, I thought the couldn't do that as a CA????

AAFES, a couple of late payment,  $9,500 CL, $7,000 Balance, but I am current now, I e-mailed them a GW, but they refused, they replied that they can only take the late payments off if it was an error on their part

Charge Offs:

Captial One, 2008, $2,222

Orchard, 2008, $ 2,094

JCPenney, 2008, $294

BOA, 2008, $794

Merrick, 2008, $2024

Fingergut, 2009, $750

Current Credit:

HSBC Auto: $1,701, 3 more payments

First Premier $250 credit limit  $11 balance

Installment loan #1, $4,100 currrent, pays as agreed

Installment loan #2, $5400 current pays as agreed

Installment loan#3, $253, 3 more payments, current pays as agreed

Installement #4, $2,044, current pays as agreed

Installment #5, $1,669, current pays as agreed

I think that is it....I really need help, this is a frustrating process. I divorced and became a single parent in 2008 and that's when my credit took a turn for the worst.  I am now trying to get my life back on track, and the biggest thing is I will be relocating in CA in the fall. I really like to find a nice place for my daughter and I, and I know credit plays a huge role in where I can live. I am open to all advise. Thanks in advance for your help.

But that is neither here nor there here is the picture:  Not all creditors report to all three CRAs.  That could be why EQ only shows a 6 year history.

Late payments:

For some reason LVNV is reporting 120+ late, I thought the couldn't do that as a CA????  FICO does not see the lates, they see the worst delinquency which is the collection.  If the OC reported the lates to them they can report it as worst delinquency.

AAFES, a couple of late payment,  $9,500 CL, $7,000 Balance, but I am current now, I e-mailed them a GW, but they refused, they replied that they can only take the late payments off if it was an error on their part.  You need to get this balance down to 10% or below.  If you ever get late again ask them if they would reset your account.  They have done this for me a couple of times.  It depends on who you talk to but have a good reason for being late.

Charge Offs:  Are these only reported by the OC or a CA also?   If the OC is reporting a balance it is killing your utilization.

I am assuming you are or were military.  Are you still active?

The other items, you are doing the right things on them.  The biggest thing is going to be if the OC is reporting a balance on your COs and reporting to a CA.  You get a triple whammy.  One for the CO, one for the OC showing a balance (if they are) and one for the collection account

I am guessing these are well within SOL?

For Allied Collections, your report should list an address.  Pull your free annual reports @ annualcreditreport.com if you have not done so already.

Re: Calling All Experts, I am really going need your HELP!!!!

Thanks for the advice. Yes I am still active, which has been my saving grace.......I know in time I will get back on track. I am writing my GW today to Barro, hopefully they will accept it. Thanks Jay I got the correct information yesterday for Allied and I sent an e-mail to them yesterday, I am saying my prayers that accept the offer, it only $112, but it would make a world of difference on my credit report to have the collection removed. As for AAFES, I am currently deployed and have saved a nice chunk, so I plan to pay them way down when I get back. The charge offs are reporting as the OC, so yeah it's killing me...maybe I can work somethiing out with them.....I'll keep you guys posted!!!

Just in case you didnt know, when settling on a account for less then the full amount, make sure the wording says something like

"considered paid in full" or "Paid in full",,,,,,so they don't try to come after you for the balance.

If you already knew this, then forget what I just said LOL.......And Good Luck to You!!Smiley Wink
