Re: Cap1 early increase creditsteps

I got a 3 month luv button increase from 300-500. Nothing at 5 or 6 month from auto luv. Called in, rep said they release the balance of your full credit line after the 7th statement cuts now. Must be a new thing?

Correction to the above post, my 3 month CLI luv button was from 300 to 800.

Agreed that $300 - $800 - $1300 is the "standard" path with QS1 and Platinum.

Perhaps if you have a major score increase in the interim you can get a larger bump. By the time it's time for my steps I'll have removed 2 of 3 collections and my only charge off.  I will still have derogs though, but hopefully that'll help me see a bigger bump! I'm due for steps in September I think.

Capital One Savor: $6,000; Mission Lane: $4,500; PenFed Power Cash Rewards: $3,500; Nordstrom Visa: $3,300; Capital One: $2,550; PenFed Gold: $2,500;
Store Cards: Kohls $2,500; Home Depot: $1,500; Amazon: $1,000; Target: $900; LOFT: $700

Re: Cap1 early increase creditsteps

Update: Despite the CSR from C1 telling me I had to wait until the 7th statement, I had an increase to $1300 on both the QS1 and Platinum this morning. Exactly 1 day after my 6th statement cut.

by the time my 6 or 7th statement comes I have my ulti rate dropping from 65 percent to around 2 percent....so I should see a good boost from that and I got word of two collection accounts being deleted off my report today Smiley Happy

Congratulations! When you get your step increase it should bring it to $1,300.00.

Is there anyway to get an increase higher than that? Thank you by the way Smiley Happy

Increase your scores considerably. I've heard of $300 going to $3300 in some instances.
