I have been reading a lot of forum posts and I finally decided to ask my own question. I have a charge off account from Capital One back in 2017 for $1495. Then I have a collection also from Capital One under The Bureaus INC for $1294. The amounts are different because I remember making payments on this debt a few years ago but stopped. Last Friday I went ahead and paid in full with The Bureaus, which actually was being managed by Superlative RM. I asked Superlative RM if they would delete after I paid. They said since all they do is collect payment they don't make that decision. They would inform The Bureaus who would then inform Capital One that I paid. Now my real question is... since I paid my collection, will my charge off reflect a zero balance too?

Yes. Once CapOne receives confirmation of payment from the collection agency, they will update the original tradeline to reflect $0. It may take 30-60 days tho so be prepared to wait.
Once the tradelines update to show payment, you can begin a Goodwill Campaign with both to see if you can have either/both removed.

Thanks for replying. I have never done a goodwill. Do I write a letter or call them?
Letters or emails. You are asking for deletion as a good faith gesture. While keeping it short and direct, your request should explain why you defaulted (financial hardship, job loss, medical, irresponsible, etc), take responsibility for defaulting, and kindly ask that they help you obtain a clean slate by deleting now that you've paid your debt. Goodwills don't always work, or it may take a few tries, but its absolutely worth trying. There has been a decent success rate with CapOne.
For best odds of success, the Goodwill Saturation Technique:
