Hi, I have a couple of charge offs that are dated like this: 30, 60, 90, 120, 120 and CO.
Is that normal? Why would I have two 120 day lates?
thanks!

A creditor has the choice on what to report, in general if the lender thinks that you will still pay it is listed as lates, once the lender no longer thinks that you will pay they have to change to a CO which is an accounting requirement for them. If you fight hard enough you can get the second 120 late turned into a 150 but not sure why you would want that.
When you get down to it. The CO ranks over the lates. Others have had different combo's of lates and then the CO hits. Hopefully you have settled or PIF so it doesnt update any longer and dies a slow death.
Thanks for the info. So the charge offs will drop in December 2022. Just hoping that if I dispute they will just not respond and it gets Deleted from EQ and EX.
I also noticed that Credit First goes like this 30, 60, 90, 120, 120, Col and then CO. I thought it could only one or the other could show on the account. They're paid but just hoping to remove sooner.

I'd highly advise *against* disputing. It'll just come back verified/corrected and hurt you more. You can ask for EE (early exclusion) around September/October.
I'm not sure what you mean by "only one or the other could show on the account."
Sorry, what I meant is that I thought that either collection or charge off can appear on the report; not together for the same account.
Thanks!

Nope. Unfortunately, the OC (original creditor) is allowed to report their TL, and whomever they sell the debt to/hire to collect is ALSO allowed to report their own TL.
Ok, thanks for the information-I really appreciate it.
