Chase

I was able to find the email addresses for some executives at Chase. So I emailed each of them a GW letter regarding two 60 day lates on a Mortgage and was surprised to get both an email and phone call response within 5 hours of the sent email to the CEO of Chase. It was one of his assistants who contacted me and she was extremely pleasant to deal with. I have not gotten anything removed yet but she is working on making something happen and seemed eager to help. Just thought this might be an avenue for others to pursue dealing with Chase.

Re: Chase

If you could post those email addresses that would be great. I have a CC acount that has been charged off and will be PIF in april. It is killing me i have 2-30 days, 2-60 days, 2-90 days, 1-120 days, 1-150 Days, and 18-180 days late. A GW may be out of the question by now but I have to try something this is really killing my score.

Re: Chase

I think it is against policy to post that information on this forum. But do some searching on the web and you should be able to come up with something as I did...

Re: Chase

I just posted the same - I wrote chase CEO an email last Friday and got a call back the same day from a Exec Customer Service Rep. Today she called me back again with my resolution - they agreed to delete the whole tradeline from my report! WOO HOO!

Re: Chase

joeh05,

I am in a similar situation.  I have 21 150 days late on mine with one each 30, 60, 90 and 120.  This is killing my score.  Let me know how you deal with Chase.  I tried a PIF for the full $538, and then they sold it off to a CA.

Re: Chase

Will do Starting Slow...... It may be a little while because I am going to take the route of the others. Pay what I owe and then send GW email to company CEO. It seems like that is the best way to go about things. IMO you should call and offer a PFD.

Would you mind to post an example of the email that you send so I know the ball park to be in when writing mine?

Re: Chase

Here is what I wrote the Chase CEO (I heard back the same day!!):

>To: Gordon [Edited] (email removed)
>Date: March 12, 2009 08:46:33 PM CDT
>Subject: Goodwill Deletion
>
>
>I am writing to you to ask for a measure of goodwill as Chase has an excellent history of strong customer service. I have one fully paid and closed account that has 7 lates on it dating back to December of 2006. After my husband and I purchased our first home I became pregnant with our daughter. Unfortunately, I was put on bedrest early on in my pregnancy due to serious complications. Because of the bedrest I was put on disability leave from my job and my income was cut by more than half. We put our home for sale in January of 2006. After the birth of our daughter we were faced with even more financial strain because of her NICU stay in the hospital that left us with a high amount of medical debt. We were unable to sell our home until March of 2007. We went through extreme financial hardships because of all this.
>
>Since the sale of our home we have been living with my parents and have recovered from our financial debts. We have learned the true meaning of financial responsibility. We are now trying to prepare for the purchase of a home for our family of four. I am asking and pleading for a measure of goodwill to delete the 7 lates off of my credit report with all 3 bureaus. This one trade line is holding my family back from our dream of home ownership. I understand that you are under no legal obligation to respond to my letter of Goodwill, but I pray that you will find it in your heart to grant my family the goodwill of deleting the late payments off my credit report, or at least delete the 60 and 90 day lates.
>
>Sometimes we get into financial problems but through hard work my family has been able to overcome whatever God puts in our path. However, this time I am asking for your help in realizing my families’ dreams, with this gesture of goodwill and delete this reporting off my credit report; Chase will forever have my gratitude.

Re: Chase

I intend to just to pay it off, and then GW the entry.  But the odd thing is that Chase reported it for over 2 years, and then right when I contact them to PIF, they sell it off.  Another person suggested that maybe they sold it earlier and just didn't report it.

Well, I called Chase today and they said that they sold it on March 9, 2009.  That was 1-1/2 weeks after they received my PIF letter.  The collection agency does not even have me in the system yet.

Regardless, I am going to pay Asset Acceptance so they don't report it, and then just GW the heck out of Chase.
