Re: Collection Agencies that PFD, and Collection Agencies that do not PFD.

I saw some of you talking about the delays with RJM Associates. I did mine via the phone and it worked. I know it is riskier as I didn't have agreement in writing but I am on a time crunch to get my score up so didn't have time to wait on the mail.

They did fax me the letter within 24 hours of my pymt being made over the phone. I had it completely deleted off my credit in 4 days! I faxed the delete letter from RJM to TU (is was the only CRA it was showing up on) and they took it off w/in 2 days.

Hope this helps!

Diversified Services Group will PFD. When I sent my letter, they responded with a printout from the dentist's office as a DV, so it took a second letter explaining what I wanted. Once they got it, the lady, who was actually really nice, called me while she was typing the letter so she could word it exactly as I wanted. Just mailed out the MO yesterday.

Honestly, it was my experience that dealing with the collection agencies was a waste of time.  I only contacted the original creditors and that is how I had my collection items deleted.  If you have a valid reason as to why you did not pay something or why something was late then I would simply contact the oc.  Furthermore, if you can some how contact the "executive customer service" areas of the oc's then that would be even better.  The cas work for the ocs and do what the ocs tell them to do.  It worked for me.

I want to bump this thread because I feel it can help many of us here and because I am curious to see if any others have had paid collections deleted through GW'ing the original creditors (as stated above).

(I hope this is ok)

Re: Collection Agencies that PFD, and Collection Agencies that do not PFD.

Sequoia Financial agreed for a PFD... but that was the only company I was able to do a PFD with. I can't get Midland or CMI to budge on anything, even though they violated FDRA by not responding to multiple DVs (that's Midland). CMI violated a Cali Civil Code that states a CA must inform you that it's posting negative info... which they never do, assuming that the request for payment is that. But considering that you have 30 Days to respond (make a payment and get the PFD going), one can work the system that way.

I've never heard of the "executive customer service" -- which I wish I could get with the Gas Company and Verizon, but Verizon is sataspawn, so...

Arrow Financial falls victim to tough stance DVs, so that's even better than PFD.

I am in the process of getting Er Solutions to remove one of mine.  I spoke to a representitive on the phone and had him fax me over a the letter.  He did right away. It is supposed to be removed within 5 days of my payment clearing

Thanks for the info....But the judgement itself will still stay for 7 years i belive. I don't think it will be deleted. Just the account info related to the judgement. If i can get these guys to agree to sign a release of judgement form and forward it to the courthouse then i might get this **bleep** judgement deleted.
Thanks

Well, according to a different member, there IS a way to get a paid judgement removed. Here's the link:
