Good information, but you should really use the address listed on your CR.

Reason?

If you mail something to the address on your CR and it is returned undeliverable, they are not reporting accurately.

If you are dealing with a CA that has offices all over, chances are one office may not be able to help you if your account is in another office. Sometimes they can. But if they can't, they'll either forget about your letter or forward it on which delays response time.

If your state requires license/bond.....most of those states will require EACH address to be licensed/bonded. So, check and deal with the address on your CR.

Am sure there are other reasons(maybe better reasons).

Re: Collection Agency Addresses !!

I DV'd two CA's at the addresses listed on my CR. They both came back undeliverable. Does this mean I can dispute with the CRA's because of inaccurate reporting? How do I go about this? WHich letter do I send? Thanks for your help!

Send a copy of the envelope showing undeliverable along with a letter to the CRA.

There is a sample letter floating around, search the forums for "undeliverable" or something like that.

Doesn't mean you WILL get it deleted, but they either need to report ALL information accurate or not at all.

Does your state require a CA to be licensed/bonded? If so, are they?
