Is it supposed to be for one debt or three debts? Sometimes hospitals send multiple bills for multiple departments for the same incident.
Has the debt been satisfied?
1. Have you been served?
2. Have you gone to court yet? If no, when is your court date?
3. These have not been paid, correct?
You may need more information. You say the Attorney stated the Hospital is his client, but his he independant or does he work for the Collection Agency. Also, you'd want to confirm that the OC has actually recalled the accounts from the CA as most often they leave the accounts with the CA for reporting purposes and the CA is the one who provides the means of suing the consumer. If the latter is the case, then everything is as it should be. It seems strange to me that the Hospital would have the ability to sue but use the services of a Collection Agent only to call the accounts back and sue them on their own IMO.

Yes, we have a judgment against us. We worked out a payment arrangement with the Plf's atty and they have agreed to file to vacate once the judgment is paid in full.
When I called to make the payment, I asked who their client was. I was told the hospital and that they are not affiliated in any way with the collection agency. They represent the provider only.

She stated they are not affiliated in any way with the collection agency. The OC is the client.
Thanks for the responses and help!
This is really confusing.
Is the Plaintiff listed on the judgement with the court the hospital or the collection agency?
Do you have in writing that they will vacate when it's paid?
Do you have the means to get this paid in full or are you planning to make payments or save and pay later?
