I have a collection account listed on equifax from centron collection services. It lists the date of last payment as 12/06/2015. Its not december yet lol. I have already disputed this with the credit reporting agency but came back verified. I filed a bbb complaint against the collection agency for this. Im hoping the whole account will be removed. Has anyone ever seen anything like this?

Perhaps a typo?
I would call an point out the clear error, as Dec is not yet upon us. Perhaps they can explain.
Inaccuracies are basis for correction, but an inaccuracy in an item such as a payment date would not be basis for removal of the reporting of the collection per se.
What are the other facts pertaining to the collection, such as its age (DOFD), current balance, and ownership?
Date of last payment is not a signficant date as relates to credit scoring, so pursuing its correction by more drastic means, such as complaint to the CFBP, may not be the best approach at this point if you are considering other options that might need their good-will, such as a PFD offer.
I have already paid the account off earlier this year but they refused to delete. It was a charged off bank account from years ago and I even called the bank and they said they cant do anything but they did remove it from my chexsystems report. Thanks

Did they offer any explanation of how they can have already have reported a future date that has not yet occured?
It appears to be a clear error on its face.
If you have disputed and they have verified its accuracy, then they did not conduct a reasonable investigation of your dispute, as requuired under FCRA 623(b).
I would file a formal complaint with the CFPB of their lack of proper handiling of your dispute.
As an aside, it is not really a matter of credit reporting significance other than possible constuting an update to the collection, possible causing its scoring to have been update under the FICO algorithm. Other than that, a date of payment has no credit scoring relevance or effect on its ultimate date of exclusion.
Yes, i I would get it corrected, but it is not of huge significance on a paid, closed debt. Correction of the inaccuracy would be the required outcome, not deletion of the collection.
