I had a collection from Columbia House for 79 dollars on my credit report through RMG Systems which dropped me 31 points. This collections was on before through a different C/A which I had gotten removed. WHat should I do next? I called RMG and all he said was he would pay for delete. Should I just pay it? Should I get them to email me something or what? I kinda want to keep fighting cause it isnt mine, but I am trying to get a new job and dont want my crdit to screw me. Thoughts?
Have him send you an email confirmting that they would PFD. Then send the payment with a copy of the email.
they sent me and email that is generic but the bottom says please allow 45 days for a tradeline deletion?

Just so long as the email has all your pertinent account information, as well as their company information and the person you are dealing. It isn't certified mail, when pushh comes to shove, but it's better than nothing and pretty good.
They also said some bs about needing and extra 12 dollars for the "deletion fee" lol but since it is such a small amount I just want this done and over with.
I would suggest that you use the same tactic you used to get the last one removed and possibly even file an ID Theft report on this one. If its not yours DO NOT PAY IT... Companies like this know these are nuisance CAs and sometimes the amounts they claim are owed by someone are comoletely bogus. I would not take any CAs word for deleting it and if you pay it even though it is not yours it will stick to you.
