If the CA agree to PFD, then the amount the account was settled for won’t matter since it won’t be reported in your credit file. But, if they refuse to PFD and you settle the account for less than owned it will show on your credit report as “settled for less than full” or “legally paid in full for less than full balance”. Settled accounts won’t have any impact on your credit score.
The only negative point about settling an account is, future lender might think that you did not pay the full amount that was owned and might consider it negative.
