I have a FICO 8 score of 606 - how quickly given the right steps could I make it into the 700's/preferably mid-700's? Please no rude comments I understand these things do take time. I am a college student, I am studying on a scholarship through an online university and I cannot afford a transfer to anywhere to live on campus as I would be losing this scholarship. My parents are emotionally abusive and I am looking to get access to high limit credit cards (not to spend, but to have a large saftey net of being able to keep usage down) as well as having a decent enough credit profile for an apartment lease soon.
A little background - I have no collections, I just need to lower my utilization and I am working with Lexington Law currently to remove my 8 negative remarks (all late and missed payments).
Current: Capital One Platinum - $850, Kohl's Store Card - $300, OpenSky Secured Visa - $200, Credit One Credit Card - $300.
I am also using SelfLender to build credit and I have (in school defferred) student loans all federal totaling around $13,000 thus far.

I got a couple of $5,000 unsecured credit cards from My Jewelers and New Coast Direct and they really helped my scores. Sitting at 781 now. How long do i need to keep these cards now that i'm in my house.
Hi, what was your score before you added those two primary trade lines?
