Credit history length not accurate effects my score

The credit reporting agency report that I have a relative short credit history. So what kind of information can I send to them showing that my credit history is much longer then what they are showing. I know that I took out a loan from Marine Corp. Federal Credit Union in the mid 1970's. In the late 1970's had obtain a credit card. That I had use into the late 1980's. I discontinue using the card, when I change financial institutions. In the mid 1980's took out education loan. That I paid in full in the early 90's

My present Credit Union I became member in 1989 and shortly later establish a Credit Card Account. In the early 90's I took auto loans for a couple of used cars. Each of these loans were paid ahead of time. Since then I have taken out other loans from this credit union all of the have been paid head of schedule.

Looking at my total payment history percentage wise I have either paid on time or before 99% of the time. The 1% time I did not pay on time was due to economical hardship when my government employee place me on force leave without pay. Since that time I have continue to pay my bills on time even during period when I was living in a shelter. Have calculated that I have paid my bills on time for 414 months, with 6 months having difficulties paying on time due to the hardships I have lived through.

I know this is rambling post, but if FICO scores are to be fair the total financial history should be reported, not just the negative history that happen only for short period of time.

Closed accounts only stay on your credit report for up to 10 years from DOLA.  Negative items stay on usually for up to 7 1/2 years from DOFD, depending on what the negative item is.
