Yes I could probably call them but this might be quicker I got an offer from credit one I guess because I haven't been using them for the month of June they will give a bonus of 3% cash back. The terms don't say much. Just wondering if anyone experienced this? Is it 3% on any category or just what they currently offer me at 1%? The terms just say 3% bonus cash back on up to $1000 spent.
Probably enticing you to use the card more for the 3%. Once you hit the $1000. Back to normal.

That is an offer to get their new(ish) X5 card. It wouldn't be a half bad card if it had no AF, or had a higher limit on rewards dollars earned and had any possibility of a decent credit limit.
With the $95 AF and only $5000 of spend eligable for the 5% cash back, it is effectively a 3% card with a low credit limit.
Credit One also sends out random "bonus" offers to holders of their other cards, usually giving 3% cash back for certain types of spend, and/or certain merchants, for a limited time on cards that normally only earn 1%.

Enough said in the highlighed part and sounds like on any purchase. Assuming you have a simple 1% Cash-back card.
