Re: Delinquency removed but no score jump

So I had a 30 day delinquency removed by GECRB and my score never jumped. Yet it was being reported to all three agencies. Why does this happen? I just recently(Friday) had another 30 day delinquency removed(my most recent) and I am finding myself checking my email every fifteen minutes hoping for a score alert. Is it possible that this may not lead to a score jump either?

Right now I am trying to get a 640 mid-score so I will qualify for this mortgage through Chase. My mid score now is 604. I paid down my highest balance to around 40%(it was over 90% a month ago and that doesn't report until 4/10). On 3/11 I had my credit report ran and my mid was 525 so I have definitely come a long way in a short period of time but I'm greedy, I want the 640!! Smiley Happy

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

I think there is  A LOT going on behind the scenes with these CAs where they work with banks and other finance companies to keep scores lower.. High enough to get approved for things, but low enough where they can justify higher interest rates..

I had 3 negatives on my credit report over the past 7 years..

I was able to get a 2010 fed tax lien deleted AND a 2009 Judgment deleted - leaving just one negative 0 balance item on my report from 2006 - and that will fall off in June of this year..

With a total of 69k in CLs and a 13% overall utilization across the board and an AAOA of 7 years, my scores DROPPED from 713 to 674 the day after I had these 2 negatives removed.. I run my reports every single morning and these deletions were the only thing that changed and my scores plummeted.. A BIG FAT scam going on behind the scenes and since they are all allowed to keep their formulas super secret, there is nothing us little people who depend on credit can do about it but pay the banks their ransom..

Re: Delinquency removed but no score jump

Okay so I was just notified by score watch regarding the removal of Friday's delinquency and my Equifax jumped from 620 to 661!!! Is it safe to say that TU and Experian also jumped around 40 points? My Experian was my mid score at 609 and that needed to be 640 before I could get my pre-approval.

Starting Score: 526 EQ 564 TU 520 EXP (03/11/13 Lender)
Current Score: 661 EQ(04/08) 600 TU(04/03 Lender) 604 EXP(04/03 Lender)
Goal Score: 750
