Discovers Secured Card

I got the card in Oct 2015, increased my limit this month.

I applied for the secured card just a few days ago, and was denied for having a chapter 13 bankruptcy... even though it has all been paid and discharged going on 3 yrs now.  That was the only reason they gave me.  HMMM Seems they like to pick and choose.... which is crazy if my deposit is going to be my credit!

I applied today and was denied due to my Ch 7 BK being discharged in Nov. 2015.  I never had a Discover card before.

The only declines I have heard lately are for BKs. Since they changed the criteria, they've been accepting COs and Lates without issue.

I can confirm what lindsaydruart said. I have 2 unpaid

FP charge offs from 2009-2010 (due to fall off soon) and was approved, I've alao never had a BK.

Decided to app for this. After hitting the submit button it brought me to the page where you enter your bank account info for the deposit. Now I didnt get a denial or an approve but a page where it wanted to verify my bank account. Hoping this doesn't get denied.
