Dispute filed with Experian! Now..

Ok guys and gals, I've submitted my dispute for the one and only collection on my Experian report. Its the same ugly thing that has been deleted from Equifax last week, due to it being incorrect I believe!  SO, now I pray, and wait, and hope they are as nice as Equifax. Nothing ugly showing on Trans Union, so I'm good there. Just wait for this dispute, and the last ugly incorrect account on Equifax to finish the 11 days in their 30 day window....and after that, I shall be good to go I think!!

2 paid charge offs, but one is 2006, and might as well let it fall off next year, and one for 2007 that I am still confused on, $19 overdraft??

But whatever, its paid,so I guess i should leave them be since they're paid???

True some have taken GWs and put them in dispute.  Unless you have a mortgage application in the waiting it really don't matter.

Re: Dispute filed with Experian! Now..

That's what I was afraid of. We want to apply as soon as the last dispute on EQ is resloved and now the last thing on my EX i just disputed today, so since they charge-offs are paid, and old, i should leave them alone until securing the mortgage, yes?

If you have the scores.  Yes... leave it alone till after the mortgage is through, then fire it back up.

Re: Dispute filed with Experian! Now..

Thank you!! I was hoping I was making the right decision. My luck would have been to send them the letter, then they would have been like, Oh realllllly, and boom, ugly comment, and have to wait FOREVER to be able to move forward!!

Maybe you can answer this. When a lender pulled my report for me last month, a cred-co that showed all 3 and my ficos, EX was my midscore of 605, which had this $40 collection that i am disputing, (i went back and looked at the report she gave me bc I didnt see it online, i thought they had bamboozled me!) and it also showed the $196 medical collection that the hospital had removed bc it was their error, and my score was 605 with that showing. NOW, since the hopsital error has been removed, and when this $40 collection is removed as well, it should bump a bit, correct? I wonder if it has since the $196 has been removed. I cant tell because i cant get the FICO. HMPH. AND, i am STILL waiting for my report to reflect the AU status Smiley Indifferent

Re: Dispute filed with Experian! Now..

Denpends on how many other baddies you have on your CR.  If these were your only 2, or say you had 3 and 2 were removed, you would see a huge bump.  However if you had 6 or 7 on there and 2 were removed the impact would be far less.

Re: Dispute filed with Experian! Now..

Makes sense. Yes, all I had were 2 collections, 1 account that was sitting in Accounts, rather in than collections, bc they were reporting as a factoring agent I suppse, (Equitable Acceptance) and Im disputing that one, they have 11 more days. And then the 2 paid charge offs, that are 5 and 6 years old.

So, 2 old chargeofrs

2 collections(basically)1 on EQ and 1 on EX that has already been removed from EQ.
