You said 3 cards is the "sweet spot" would it be worth it to apply for another card, maybe even a secured card just to have 3 cards reporting? When I pull my score it says I have to few accounts (6 equifax, 7 Transunion) Are there any cards other than CapOne that don't do hard pulls on your credit report? I'm planning on buying a house next year, I'm not sure whether it's better to try and ride out what I have, or get one more account.
I'm confused - are you CERTAIN you had the No AF platinum card, and not the "Classic" Platinum card? Note that the Classic Platinum has the fee waived for the first year. Take a look at some of your old statements online from before the account conversion and see what the interest rate was.

The only card that I know that won't HP is OpenSky secured. Capone pulls all three bureaus.......Discover typically pulls TU.....Don't know many that won't pull something.
I am confused about the platinum to quicksilver upgrade....I have a Cap On Platinum secured card, and I didnt think that card would jump to an unsecured?? Am I wrong in this assumption?

No, Cap One does not promote their secured cards to unsecured. But you can app for unsecured and if you get approved, you can then close the secured card and app for a second unsecured card. Sometimes they will approve two unsecured cards without having the secured account closed.
I have no idea if they will put rewards on it or not. Contact them and ask.
