Does disputing something on your CR reflect negatively?

Disputing can affect your FICO score negatively.  While the info is in dispute, the disputed TL info is not taken into account for FICO scoring, so if its an older account it could decrease your AAoA etc.  Crazy as it sounds, sometimes an old baddie can be helping your score more than it hurts.
