I have 2 CO's that are both within the 6 months for early exclusion with TU. These are my only 2 baddies left and then my report will be squeaky clean! I've worked hard to rebuild credit over recent years and would love to knock these 2 items off. I'm hesitant about asking for EE because these 2 CO's update monthly! If I'm lucky enough to have them EE'd will they just reappear next month? How does that work?
If they are in the 6 month EE TU date then I would submit the request to delete. Dont worry about monthly reporting.Once they are removed your scores will go up.
Do it. I did it a week ago and it works. But it must be within the 6-month period.
So how it works is you go to the dispute section you press other for a reason and in the reason you put obsolete too old to be on report. If it is truly within the 6 month time frame it will come off within seconds and you'll get an email and an update immediately. TransUnion is actually pretty good about it.
It just so happens that I'm tracking my experience with EQ falloffs right now! Based on my recent data points, EQ can drop 2-3 months before DoFD.

Which / Where is the dispute section?

If there isn't a generic Dispute button on the side, you can usually go into the specific credit line in the report and dispute from there.
When you're on the trans Union web page in the top right hand corner you'll see the three menu bars. Tap on that and it'll bring you to a drop-down screen on the left. Tap dispute.
That will take you to a full page of headings. All the way at the bottom of that page you'll see dispute. Click on dispute. It will take you to an acknowledgment page just check the boxes.
Your entire report will appear. On the right hand side of each item it will have the word dispute. Scroll all the way down to the bottom to find the credit. Choose your item. It gives you two items to check check not accurate. That takes you to another drop-down screen you want to choose option 'other'. Type in the box account obsolete should be removed from report.
Tap submit.
If you are truly within the 6-month period it will come off immediately within seconds. And you will get a confirmation email.
Good luck.

@Anonymous Have you pulled the proverbial trigger yet? If not, I also say JUST DO IT! I had 3 that were set to fall of TU 10/2022 and also went the online route on TU website and all 3 were deleted instantly. Best wishes....
