Filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy 9.5 years ago. I didn't know anything about early exclusion so was patiently waiting to hit the ten year mark. To my surprise, experian removed the bankruptcy three months early automatically. I researched and read that Transunion does the same six months early if you request it, so I did yesterday and it was instantly removed. I disputed it online as inaccurate and requested early exclusion in the comments.
I've read that Equifax is much tougher and inconsistent, so will hold off any request with them, but in the mean time just wanted to share my datapoints.
My scores increased 49 points on Experian and ~30 points with Transunion. Went from borderline 700 to 740+. Really happy and appreciative of the knowledge others have shared here
Congratulations on your EE success!
