Hi All,
Can anyone tell me how much my score will drop for a pre-employment credit check?
Thanks,
Kate
Employment checks should not have any adverse reaction to your Credit Reports. Your scores should stay the same. I am sure YMMV depending on how it was coded but if it is done properly there will be no changes to your scores.

+1 Mine was a soft pull,

I thought they were usually soft pulls, but I wouldn't be surprised if some actually did some hard hitting.
Thank you all for the info.
In the event it is a hard credit pull, any idea on how much my score could go down.

OP, IIRC, FICO ignores inquiries placed for employment reasons.
I took a job for 4 weeks until a position opened up at my first choice of employment and they hard pulled my credit. The good new is it was only one bureau. Until then I thought they were all soft pulls.
