I heard they would be the same but mine are not, myfico is 42 points higher than what I see on Equifax.com. Same day, same time pulled.
Also, I thought FAKO's are usually higher than MYFICO's..is this 'usually" true. And I know some say EQUIFAX.com is not a fako but it must be if its not matching with myfico score. And I did verify all the info is the same on both reports.
I believe Equifax offers FICO and FAKO, depending on the product used. For example, look at http://www.equifax.com/compare-products/ which differentiates between the FICO score and Equifax Credit Score†, with the asterisk showing: " The Equifax Credit Score is a proprietary credit model designed by Equifax. It may be calculated using the information contained in your Equifax, Experian and Transunion Credit Files... "
So basically, you likely bought a FAKO.
EDITED to add: At the bottom of that page, it also says "Unless otherwise noted, any credit score provided as part of the products described herein makes use of the Equifax Credit Score. Click here to view products that feature the FICO® Score
OKay, is the Equifax ScoreWatch a Fako or Fico?
ScoreWatch is a FAKO

There are different products available at Equifax.com so you have to be very careful. Recently EQ began selling their own proprietary "Equifax Credit Score" which is NOT an EQ FICO score.
Equifax will still sell you a FICO score but you have to look very hard to find it. It is the same ScoreWatch product you can get buy at myFICO.
You can get to it here: www.equifax.com/myfico-products.
Also there is no way to tell whether FICO or FAKO scores will be higher or lower. There is no pattern to go by. There is no way to convert one to the other. As long as you remember that any FAKO is worthless you'll be fine.
From a BK years ago to:
EX - 3/11 pulled by lender- 835, EQ - 2/11-816, TU - 2/11-782
