Error in reporting collection

Below is what is showing up on my Credit Check Total account for a collection. Is there anyway I can contest the date opened? All of my other reports do not have a date opened. I've deleted the balance, account number, etc. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: Error in reporting collection

If this is reported by a CA then the date opened is the date that they (CA) was assigned or bought the account.

If this is a CA is the OC reporting?   If yes then be sure to keep hard copies from all 3 CBs because they will show the correct DOFD/DOLA.

If a CA reports a date open 2001....it is past CRTP and should not be reported!!!

If a CA starts reporting and try to re-age the account the copies of CR are your proof.

Re: Error in reporting collection

This is the CA reporting and the OC is scheduled to fall off later this month. Does this help my case at all?

Re: Error in reporting collection

YES!!!   the CA must drop at the same time.  If the DOFD was in 2001 then it should have deleted in 2008.

I would dispute it
